Registration is OPENING IN APRIL 2017!
The Classic GBROC 45km race will be held Sunday, 4 June 2017.
The GBROC 2017 Program has been drafted and includes information on both the Classic and GBROC Half. Register between 1 April and 5 May 2017 to receive a discount on your registration fee. Registration closes 26 May 2017 at 6:00pm.
Open to OC6, OC2, OC1, SUPs, surf skis and prone boards.
Don’t miss the chance to challenge yourself in Australia’s longest iron race on the first weekend of June. A unique adventure, set against the stunning coast line of far north Queensland, the 45km downwind course from Yorkeys Knob to Port Douglas combines gruelling distance and fantastic surf action. Remember – if it was easy, everyone would do it!.
WHATS NEW IN 2017
In 2017 Hekili OCC will also host a GBROC Half held Saturday, 3 June 2017.
Open to OC6 craft only.
The 25km course is Cairns (Trinity Inlet) to Yorkeys Knob, and is designed for paddlers who want to test themselves over distance and are working up to the Classic GBROC.
